I've been putting off getting my driver's seat repaired for ages because I just assumed it would be a massive hassle and cost a fortune, but the tear on the bolster had gotten so bad that foam was actually starting to poke through and it was getting really uncomfortable on longer drives. When I picked it up I literally couldn't believe it was the same seat, they had matched the leather color perfectly and even replicated the original stitching pattern so it looked completely factory fresh. The guy explained that they used a high-quality leather that's treated to resist the heat and UV damage here, which was a relief because one of my concerns was that the repair would just deteriorate again within a year. The whole experience was honestly way smoother than I anticipated and it's made such a difference to my daily driving experience because now I'm not constantly aware of that annoying tear every time I get in the car. If you've been putting off getting your seats done like I was, I'd definitely say go for it because it's one of those things that improves your quality of life way more than you'd expect, and it's probably cheaper than you think if you shop around a bit.
