I'm bringing my black Golf over from the UK next month and I'm already panicking about the sun and sand. Back home I never bothered with any protection but everyone here keeps telling me the paint will bake and chip within a year if I don't do something. I've got quotes for ceramic coating and for PPF and the PPF ones are nearly triple, which made me pause. Also does PPF actually help with resale here or do buyers not care? Would love to hear from anyone who has shipped a car in and what you did.
